Stay At Home Mom’s

Change has come to America, Obama said this during his Presidential election campaign. But guess what, change has always been constant in America. With the amount of people pouring in from all parts of the globe, America is a melting pot of different cultures and traditions. There is this exchange of values and cultures between the US and other world countries, which at times, collide in such a way that a new culture is born. In simple words, culture is nothing but, human knowledge, beliefs and behaviors, values and set of attitudes. And when times changes, these pattern changes too, evolving into a new kind of culture.
Nowadays, we read about this stay at home mom culture in US, where modern women are embracing the role of full time parent. These women who are professionally at good positions have left their paid workforce, to bring up their child and concentrate on their housework. Some of them prefer to work from home, some prefer part-time jobs when their kids are at school. Though many criticize this fact that, staying home of women and looking after their household work, does not contribute anything to their child’s success.
So why is that we suddenly see a rising trend of this stay at home mom culture? From women point of view, they feel that the window to child’s success is love, life and happiness, which is why they need to pay more attention towards their kids, rather than their professional lives. Working in offices along with handling household chores can bring a lot of stress, which can disturb women’s personal life. Hence stay at home culture gives them ample time to focus exactly on what they want to do, they can track down their things to do list and complete it systematically. Women can learn more about their hobbies and pursue some part-time work or volunteer, which gives them an opportunity to develop the better side of their talent, which they could not explore when involve in professional jobs.
Also, if we key in stay at home in Google, we will find a lot of stay at home mom blogs and groups, where women from different states of America, and also from different parts of world interact and share their thoughts, on how they can make their personal and household lives happier. No wonder with so much hype and popularity, this home culture is to stay in US for a long time.
