Robosexual….Wuaht???
So there was this article which we came across and it was kind of bothering. Needless to say, it was about robosexuals (the title says it all!).
For those of us who have roamed the internet for years, or even just those of us who watch a little too much sci-fi, the term ‘robosexual’ shouldn’t be a new one. For the few of you who are unfamiliar with the term; Yes, it does mean exactly what you think it means.
‘Robosexual’ is a term for people who are sexually attracted to robots. What bothers is not the act, as it is about the legality. Here’s a small part of a sentence in that article….it’s simply impossible to shake it off your head….
“… the impending likelihood of legalized marital relations with robots.” This really sucks. Why is this even an issue at all? Sure, we’ve all heard about the illegal robot boning that’s running rampant in this country, up and down every street, around every corner, but who ever thought it was really an issue?
But we have to say, in spite of all the weird things happening around, we have never seen or come across a law involving a inanimate object EVER! On second thought, the day when hooking up with inanimate objects would be illegal will be sad indeed. Imagine a world where people using ‘adult toys’ get jailed….now that’s something to think about. It’s totally unbelievable and you would start wondering what next?. Robots are not alive, they don’t have feelings, and they’re made for a very specific reason… and someone decides that they should be illegal? That’s crap!
What the else does the government expect people to use them for? Study partners?
