Pink Slip Plight
Know how it feels when you lose your job? Things start tumbling down and your life seems wrecked? Here’s something worth reading……
“Last week, I had to say tada to my job, as my company has now moved it operations to one of the Asian countries, as a result of what people claimed as global economy crisis. So, here I am sitting at home, jobless, watching TV, which nowadays shows nothing but false hopes given by the Obama ministry about bringing back jobs to homeland and rejuvenating US from this economic crisis.
Being home all the time is not my cup of tea, so I usually go golfing or meet people around, socialize a bit. In last couple of days, what I saw around me was mind-boggling. I saw people jobless like me, many of them can’t even afford to make their ends meet. I was like, oh my gosh, what is the world is happening to America. I mean look at the way our governments talk, utter nonsense, and the attitude of the people around has changed, from the way it used to be when JFK was the first citizen. I wonder, if any of us even remember JFK and the vision he had to take America to a new level of superpower nation.
There was a time when US was the leading producer of consumer goods and shipping them worldwide, in every third world country on the globe. And look what has happened now, our government have forced manufacturers and service-driven companies offshore. Ask yourself this, how many consumer products do you see which are totally 100 percent American-made? Not only, consumer products, but almost every IT-enabled service has moved to these Asian countries, which were once nowhere in market competition. The concept of free trade is not only affecting our country big time, but infact killing us straightforward, and what we do here is call a press conference and announce filing of bankruptcy Chapter 11, as if it was some great news we should take pride in.
Barack Obama, entered the President office in great style and gave a great speech declaring that change has come to America. Wow, what a change I must say? Prices of gas and diesel per gallon has rocketed. The promise of bringing back our troops have been neglected. Housing and car sales show worst figures on the charts. And above all our economic has nose-dive leading to recession that has really brought down the living standards of every average citizen. I think its high time for people to tell Obama that his approval ratings are far worse than that of Bush’s.”
