michael Jackson cartoon Well, by now you might have guessed the topic that we are about to discuss… yes, its MJ. He didn’t make money for himself or his family. Actually he made money for lots of other people…. after his death that is. Vultures eating dead body that’s what these guys are.

MJ had both good and bad reputation but who cares. All they cared about is the money that he was pumping into their coffers. At least the parents of the kids who sued him for molestation may have thought so. Let’s put it this way, when MJ died twitter made huge money, he was a trending topic for a whole bloody week! He was just a “keyword”. MJ’s music distributors and records company sure monetized his death (you expected them not to rake in some moolah?). They made a killing because his music got more hit after his death. Youtube expericend large burst in MJ video views. If this is the kind of money that a dead singer can get, music companies would be waiting for all the singers to die at the earliest! Especially the ones who have gained a lot of popularity.

What’s more sad is that his doctors made money while trying to kill him. The medications did him in finally. Its all so fishy and mysterious. Bloggers are bloggin about his death (including us), business trying to promote products in his name, record companies trying push the albums for one last time…..the list goes on. There are documentaries and short movies about him and before you know some producers and directors would begin making a movie on his life. So gear up for more MJ movies and song dedications (includes shows conducted in his memory). That’s the only way other singers can make money out of him (now why the hell would they want to be left out…after all its their own clan).

Coming to his funeral, it was a gala night, they mourned his death by singing. Did any of the singers sing up any new contract? Did some of them improve their PR? You can answer could be affirmative. People who didn’t know a damn about MJ were all there. Maybe it was their 10 seconds to fame. And why not? The news channels were busy interviewing ever Tom, Dick and Harry! All in for the money…. However, the AEG company which was organizing the ‘tour’ for Michael was perhaps was the only group had burned holes in their pockets. Now that they have to refund the pre-purchased tickets its gonna hit them hard. Maybe they should try something else to recover their losses. How about MJ t-shirts, toys and video games? Hmm…. Good business opportunity. MJ will definitely like the sound of these and the kids will enjoy them too. MJ – RIP.
