Govt Health Insurance Sucks….REALLY??
Now this is a subject we could rant about until we are blue in the face. We love nothing more than turning on the news and watching these idiots scream about how supporting health insurance reform in some way means you’re supporting euthanasia.
We can’t stop ourselves from giggling into hysterical laughing as it fits whenever we see herds of people saying that government-run health care means death to us all, then turn around and say that they’re on MediCare or MedicAid. It’s as if these people are from a planet where it doesn’t matter how stupid you are, as long as you can yell the loudest. Unfortunately, that planet is called “Earth”, and it really doesn’t matter how stupid you are, as long as you can out talk, over run, and kick out anyone who has a differing opinion. No one is promoting euthanasia, people. No matter how many times you scream “READ THE FINE PRINT, EUTHANASIA!!!….111!!!”, it will not be true….. ever.
If you have a surgery at the very healthy age of 21, you are asked to sign some papers stating if you would like to be kept alive by machines, and if so, how long. Same is true in case of your mother, father, uncles, aunts, and friends. All have to fill out the exact same form before undergoing any surgery. Now you may think that’s bullshit, right? Wrong! Anything that involves even the slightest anesthesia requires this form, because there is always going to be that one poor bastard unlucky enough to get sick or die from the simplest procedures.
All of these were under private insurance companies, with the exception of one, which was government funded. No one died, nor did the doctors intend to kill anyone. These are very standard papers, and all the health care reform will do in regards to you dying, is allow you to have free access to these living wills, as well as a doctor to discuss the options with you. And as for the government-run health care being dangerous because “Oh my god, it’s the government”; we very much distrust the government when it comes to most things, but we trust them to keep us alive because they need their worker bees in working condition. An other insurance company is more picky and much more dangerous in our opinion. Maybe if you weren’t all mooching off the government and had a chance to experience what it’s like to have to either pay for your own insurance through work, or worse, on your own, you would be a little more accepting of a black man as your president.
