I actually wrote a blog about the healthcare reform too. I agree, some things need to change.. (mostly insurance regulations in respect to pre-exsisting conditions, and we should have county poverty levels instead of state of even federal ones that mandate medicaid eligibility) But it is my personal opinion that the government doesn't need to have its nose up in my healthcare. I want to be the one making the calls and seeing the physicians I want to see. It will also effect how much the physicians are getting paid. I think they deserve to be compensated the way they are, thats why they attend school for so many years.. If the government takes over healthcare they will then employ the physicians.. does that mean they will keep their compensation at the same? Hell no, it'll be much lower.
