2012 – The Dooms Day!
End of the world prophecies are something that spreads around like a wild fire. We as human beings, are so intrigue and subconsciously scared to know the time of our death, of course nobody wants to die, but we know death is something we can’t stop, so will it not be convenient, if we know the time of our end, and wrap up things to do before our time’s up. One such event was in July 1999, here in United States of America, where news regarding the end of our planet by vague object that will fall from sky and cause destruction of this planet. But miraculously, we all are alive and sitting in front of this computer reading about the upcoming disaster event in 2012.
When it comes to prediction, we always remember Nostradamus, don’t we? His followers try to fit his works with the events that happen, trying to make-believe that his predictions and prophecies are absolutely true and divine. Strangely, his prophecy about the world coming to an end in the year 2000 also went wrong.
So now are you all set to face 2012? The so called doomsday when everyone on this planet Earth, will die and go to heaven or hell. Scared? Well, if you are, you must keep your cool, and avoid believing in what the media has to say. They have a tendency to blow things out of proportion, so even if this news is just another false prophecy, be rest assured they will make you feel, that your 2012 New Year party will be celebrated in heaven.
This makes you think, so what exactly is 2012? Basically, its just an end-date of the Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar. Nothing else. Hence, many believe that transformative events will occur in that year, and mark the beginning of Armageddon. Many books and TV documentaries have been created around this idea to boost their sales. And even if you don’t want to believe, Hollywood will make you believe with a new 2012 disaster movie coming up, which will have some awesome visual effects and with the bottom line in posters that read – We Were Warned. Now that sounds funny, isn’t it? Even if we were warned, what can we do if the entire planet is about to sink. We can’t just pack our luggage and drive out in Benz to Mars, can we? The best thing we can do, is let the time come, till then we can arrange some popcorns and enjoy this movie, and forget about it.
